A message from your FLPOA Board. 10 April 2020
These are challenging times for all. We hope that our members are weathering the COVID-19 crisis. Due to guidelines from federal, provincial, and municipal governments limiting the size of gatherings,
FLPOA Annual General Meeting has been postponed indefinitely.
We are also strongly encouraging people to abide by recent government requests to refrain from visiting their cottages during this time of crisis.
Message from Leeds, Grenville, and Lanark District Health Unit to Cottagers
"We all have a social responsiblity to do what we can to protect our selves, our families and our neighbours by following public health measures, such as, staying home when sick, physical distancing, covering our cough, and following directions put in place at local businesses to ensure essential services can operate in a manner that protects their staff and the public seeking their services."

Brian Campbell, Reeve of Tay Valley Township and Warden of Lanark County, has asked that the following message be sent to local lake associations and that lake associations distribute it to seasonal residents of their lake communities as soon as they can.
“ COTTAGERS SHOULD RESIST THE URGE TO HEAD TO THE COTTAGE AT THIS VERY DIFFICULT AND STRESSFUL TIME "
While we would normally welcome cottagers to our communities, at this time our primary focus must be to ensure that our local health care resources are not overloaded and, as well, that our local grocery store demands are not put under even more pressure. We want to ensure that we are doing our best to keep everyone safe and the more we do to follow the rules we WILL beat this.
I would like to thank everyone for their co-operation. Brian Campbell
