The Friends of the Tay Watershed is a non-profit charitable association of residents, associations, NGOs and governments, dedicated to preserving and enhancing the health of the Tay River watershed, in eastern Ontario.

Educational Series:  

The first topic was on Trees and Climate Change  by Ian Cochrane, Forestry Program Manager, Rideau Valley Conservation Authority.  explained and enhanced community appreciation of the evolution of forests and the role and actions we all can contribute, responding to climate change and mitigating impacts, by simply planting and, for a couple of years tending, replacement trees for the many we are losing.

March 24 - Shoreline Planting.

The format will be much the same as an online presentation starting at 2:00 pm.
